SEC Expands Crypto Roundtable Series Nationwide, Starting in Berkeley
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is taking its crypto policy outreach on the road, launching a series of roundtables across the country. The initiative kicks off Aug. 4 in Berkeley, California, targeting small teams and early-stage projects.
Crypto Task Force lead Hester Peirce emphasized the agency's goal to engage with founders and developers who couldn't attend previous Washington-based sessions. The roadshow will visit 10 cities through December, including Boston, New York, and Chicago.
Interested teams with 10 or fewer employees can request participation by emailing the SEC with project details. The Task Force plans to publish a list of attending projects to maintain transparency.
